Title: Pharmacognostical, Phytochemical and Wound Healing Studies of Gmelina arborea (Roxb.) Leaves.

Work done:

• Prepared monograph of the above mentioned plant leaves.
  
• Detailed chemical investigation was done and 2 flavonoids as well as 1 new long chain fatty alcohol were isolated.
  
• Wound healing activity of the methanolic extract of the same leaf was found out.
