I have been working on this for quite some time now, and I found the
following codes working on my cell (Nokia 3315,NHM-5,DCT3). These codes work well with a newer firmware version (I have V6.07 on my cell right now).

 *#06# :: Check IEMI / Serial number

 *EFR0# :: Enables enhanced full rate (EFR). Basically better voice quality
but with more battery usage

 *HRC0# :: Enables Half rate (HR). Poor voice quality. Upto 30% more battery time.

 *#sim0lock# :: Sim checks if sim card can stop its clock. Useful sometimes.

 *#0000# :: Check model, firmware date and version

 *#war0anty# :: Displays warranty info viz. purchasing date, repairing date etc.

 *#opr0logo# :: Clears operator logo ( Works only with new firmware)

 #4720# :: Disable half rate codec (correct code)

 #3370# :: Enable enhanced full rate codec (EFR)
