ROCKY MOUNTAIN BULL RIDERS | ||||||||
Recent Changes |
||||||||
We have had seven for sure approvals with the RMBR. Those particular events will be listed on the schedule page of this site. One town that has decided to sanction is Roundup. This is really a thrill for us because it will be the only 2 day bull riding on the 2004 RMBR schedule. Also there has been a schedule change. Browning has decided to change their event from July 8 to July 7. They couldn't get the rodeo arena up there in Browning for the date they wanted because it would interfere with the Browning Indian Days rodeo. Box Elder is also thinking about a schedule change. It will be the same weekend, but the day of that weekend might change. A new feature of the RMBR has been added to the series. It will be called the S Slash Diamond Bounty Bull. What this is, is whomever wins the long go at any of the events will have the chance to ride a bounty bull. The bounty will be $250. If the rider is unsuccessful on the first bounty bull, then the bounty will go up an additional $250 and on every single bull until someone successfully completes a ride. If there is not a bounty winner at the final event, then the bounty will carry over to the 2005 season. If a rider does ride a bounty bull, then the bounty will start over at $250. This year's format has been changed from last season. We will be having 7 events that have been scheduled so far, and you must purchase a card to become a member of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN BULL RIDERS.The cost is $55.00 per year. With that paid membership you will receive hotel rates at the host hotels for each event. Also the ROCKY MOUNTAIN BULL RIDERS t-shirt, and 1 free companion pass to all events. This will be our weekly newsletter for the time being. We will try and keep it updated to let you know exactly what is going on this season. There have been some date changes made on already scheduled events. Poplar has been changed to Aug. 14th, Box Elder has changed their event date to July 30, and Hays has re-scheduled for August 28th. A few new towns have expressed interest in putting on a RMBR bull riding, and have been tentatively added to the scheduled. Babb is the only location that is still contemplating sanctioning. I hope this particular committee decides to sanction as it will add more variety to the RMBR schedule. If anyone has any question whatsoever, feel free to call us at (406)655-0751 or email us at: summerbullridingseries@yahoo.com Thanks. Talk to you later. |
