[01/27/02] Nigel on leave
It has been announced that Nigel will be taking a one month break from the band due to the birth of his second child. Below is an excerpt from Bush-Music.com.

Sorry guys - I wanted it to be announced in a better way but I am taking a break for the US tour - a month of shows for my wife to have our second child. I figured I'd better be around more this time - I'll be back. That German article is essentially true about Chris Trainer taking my place - we auditioned him on the last US jaunt and he seemed pretty good.
I'll be back in the saddle in May all things being equal. Sorry if there was any confusion!

[01/22/02] Default a fixture but Nickleback???
It has now been confirmed that Default will open for Bush on the upcoming interview. This morning Gavin mentioned the possibility of Nickleback also going on tour with them ohh i hope so, well that's all for now when i here more you will too.

[01/17/02] Dates, Dates, Dates!!!!!!
Lots of tour dates have been announced for this year click the tour dates link above to view them. I am soooo mad the closest date to me is in OH and that us like 4 hours form here and i am not old enough to drive and i want to go soo bad but i will find a wayÜ.

The first tour date form this years big Golden State tour has been announced and it will be at the House Of Blues in N. Myrtle Beach, SC on March 19. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, January 12th at 9:00 AM.

2001 was a memorable year for Bush and the rest of the world. We were all changed forever in the year of Bush's rebirth by terrorism and the pain and death brought on by it we witnessed a moment that will be played to out great great grandchildren as one of the most devastating moments in history and you know to tell you the truth if you were deeply affected by the events of 9/11 and you did not loose a loved one or were not there then you can not even begin to feel the same way the one who were there did. Now as for Bush in the year 2001 they finally started taking the first steps to getting the monkey known as the Science Of Things off their back with their 5th studio album Golden State.
