The Family Felines!!
My life would never be complete without my furry little friends! It's no surprise that the cats are NOT enjoying Ian's presence in the house. They mainly pout and glareat us a lot and it's quite amusing to see how quickly they vacate a room once the baby shows up!
The Next Generation
When Jason and I were forced to move to Enid, OK we decided we needed some immediate feline companionship. We adopted two kittens from the local vets and they are as different as cats can get. Their personalities are on the opposite ends of the "cat spectrum" and they are certainly keeping us busy!
Here's some early shots of the little rugrats.
This was a "family" picture taken shortly after we got the babies. And this...
was taken just about the time they were a year old. The tabby girl is Tinkerbell and the black boy is Pooka. SCARY! Where did those adorable little fluff balls go?!
Likewise, this is the babies playing with a grocery sack at a couple of months...
and this is Pooka, hogging it all to himself, once he was much bigger!!
<--- This was Tinkerbell a day or two after we brought her home and this is her seven months later! --->
When we used to live in Enid, these were the kitties respective favorite spots...both by a window, of course!!
And finally, to wrap things up, we have a couple of shots of our "camera hog". I'm not sure how, but Pooka almost seems to understand what a camera is and he "hams-it-up" big time in front of one!!
