Family & Friends

Ah, yes. Family and Friends. The ties that bind us...the ties that choke us to death!! I am, admittedly, extremely close to my family. This is both good and bad. Sometimes it's an advantage to have people so close who know you so well. but most of the time it's vastly irritating because it is impossible to get away with anything!

Would a picture help?

Well, to kick things off here's a close up of yours truly. Hey, there's nothing wrong with that! I'm the one putting this silly thing together!

And next we have a shot of my parents. John and Jan. True, it's kind of a goofy picture because I was making them laugh as I took it, but I think it's great. They both look so happy.

Then, of course, comes the shot of me and my sibling. I have only one -- his name is Andrew. And, believe it or don't, he's actually younger than me! By three years! I know, it's totally unfair. He got all of the heighth genes in our family. (See?! My cat *hates* cameras, I'm telling you!)

I almost cut Andrew out of this picture (he's got such a pissy look on his face!) but then I figure, what the heck. He looks like this most often anyway!

Here we go. The infamous "IN-LAWS". Mine are fairly new, so no horror stories... yet! These are my husband's parents, Jeff and Sue, and his only sibling, Sam. Yep, once again, the tall one is the brother. None of us is exactly sure how this happened, but it'll be really interesting to see how tall our 22 inch son will become!

My mom and I both like this picture. It speaks volumes about how our relationship has grown into a great friendship.

This is a photograph recently sent to me of my godfather Steven and my Aunt Val -- two of my favorite relatives!
