sheesh , with 5 weeks one should be allowed to travel already! !!

Chosing the name: I have always been a fan of that 'soap' I dream of Jeannie (in Germany it was called 'Enchanting Jeannie'), and this little girl had us bewitched at first sight, so it was clear, this was to be her name.

Wow, isn't she really chocolate sweet? Everybody is always laughing, because from the cattery side of the house it did not make sense to aquire 4 cats out of the same stable, so to speak, but we just could not resist, as usual. At least we did end up with a few different lines, but still. We definately have GOT to stop visiting when the Stars have babies. We are such wimps.

Jeannie is an engaging, adorable little girl who has won us over in a heartbeat. Lively, assertive, playful, she again winds up our world. She should be called 'talksalot' because she does. Constantly. If you speak to her, she speaks back. But her voice is low and sqeaky, which is also our nickname for her, squeakers. Lucky that her temperament is so sweet, otherwise she would stir things up, as she is definately the turbo of our gang. But she likes everyone, and everyone likes her, so its not problem.

She knows no fear, and even at first when some of the grown ups hissed at her, she totally ignored it and kept coming, trusting that they could not possibly have meant to mean HER. She steamrolled over them within hours, and is now the coveted playtoy and cuddlebunny of the whole bunch, us included.

Of course she is also a powerful cuddler, and prefers to sleep curled up beside my pillow with enough skin contact to feel me, but it takes quite a bit to get her worn out. Frodo is estatic, now he has someone to romb around with again (the other two are quite the ladies already, not so much interested in roughhousing anymore, and tend to clean his clock for him if he tries and monkey business). Good thing we no longer have any breakables, they would definately have now seen their last glory.

Otherwise she is SUPER intelligent and friendly. She came running on day three when called, she knows her name (and we tested her, same voice, same distance, we called someone else, she did not blink), but she can be a bit stubborn of course. The others can be persuaded to get off the keyboard if work is really important, her, not a snowball chance in hell. She wants cuddle, she gets cuddle. The concept that any area of any given room is taboo just doesn't get into her brain.
