We have accomplished a lot in the start of the new millennium. We have established a great web site with links to the Summit Lighthouse and other related sites. We have had delightful presentations on a multitude of subjects that have been an insightful learning and spiritual experience for all, including the presenters. In spite of tight financial circumstances, we had a booth at the Body, Mind, and Spirit Exposition, and were able to reach many souls. We have been able to hold the focus in Manchester for the Ascended Masters in spite of many challenging circumstances we have faced in the past year. We have also enjoyed the friendship in Christ of each other. May God bless us all for the efforts that we have made for the success of the study group, and may God help us to make the most of the renewed opportunity in 2001 and beyond. Our planet, our nation, our communities, our families, and even our own Ascension in the Light depend depends upon it!

Although our study group has been resilient and has held together this past year, we have had to consolidate our resources by reducing the number of services we offer each week from three to two. The Healing service on Wednesdays has been discontinued until further notice. The Saint Germain Service on Saturday and the Sunday Service are now the primary services being held. When additional members are willing to attend or assist in leading services, the Wednesday Healing service will resume.

As mentioned, our study group has continued to participate annually in the Body, Mind, and Spirit Exposition held in the Center of New Hampshire Holiday Inn (Manchester). We are able to make our presence known in the community and succeed in establishing contact with a large number of souls. Although only a few of these individuals actually come to our study group center, the contact has been made and the seed sown. Many of these souls do make purchases of our Summit Lighthouse books and tapes. We are planning on being present in this Exposition in following years as well.

We have continued to successfully hold presentations on the Teachings of the Ascended Masters in our Center. Practical Spirituality I and II, Soul Mates & Twin Flames, The Five Dhyani Buddhas, Spiritual Warfare and the Spirit of Harmlessness, Creative Abundance, and a host of other interesting topics were presented with the aid of overhead transparencies and an open forum discussion platform. It has proved to be an excellent way for members to learn about the finer aspects of the teachings in a personal way. Even some new comers have attended presentations to see what these teachings are all about. These new inquiries show genuine interest in our study group and the Teachings of the Ascended Masters

However, in the past year, the sanctuary has continued to be underutilized. It is imperative that we recognize the intrinsic value of our study group, and the magnification of the power of worshipping together as the Body of Christ. It is unusual for a study group of our size to have such a beautiful private sanctuary. We should capitalize on the benefits of worshipping together in the sanctuary, else we could loose it! We should not have to wait for a major cataclysm to strike before rushing to the study group to pray & decree! The study group has come a long way since it’s inception, and the torch must not be dropped.

Understandably, we all have reasons for not being able to attend services regularly. Some of us have health problems, some financial, some job related, and others a list of other special circumstances. However, the membership will find that in placing God first, all problems can and will be resolved. This is the opportunity in lifetimes to serve God, your I AM Presence, in mitigating personal karma and local, national, and planetary cataclysm. Participating in decree services with the local study group makes decrees more effective, exponentially more effective and powerful, for oneself and for humanity.

Your input – your flame – is a vital part of the study group, and the course the study group takes will be not be the same without it. The membership should search their hearts and attend the services that one is compelled by God to attend. Personal matters will fade as God finds a solution for each and every problem. With a strong participating membership, the study group could make a global difference in achieving a gentle transition into the golden age, as Saint Germain envisions. And that could earn us our ascension in the light!

As I have also said before, Community is the key to our Victory! Our decrees are multiplied thousand fold when we come together! All our problems can be resolved when we come together. It is required by God that we work together to earn our Ascension! I believe that tackling our problems individually can be a long tough journey. Let us recognize the strength in our unity. We are called to come together to strengthen and support one another on the Path. Community is coming-into-unity! The following is a short teaching from the Ascended Masters on community. We must take it seriously!!

"In the community there is enshrined the worth of the individual as the individual is able to integrate consciousness with others who serve in the wave, the ongoing wave, of Life. Community is part of the training given in the retreats of the great Masters; for there comes a time on the Path when each initiate is required to prove that he can be effective not only alone with his God, but all-one with fellow servants on the Path.

Thus in community, in coming into unity, sons and daughters of God learn of shortcomings, of failures; and they unite their strengths to overcome their common weakness. Thus united in the Flame, they are able to tackle the problems that beset each member of the group and each cell. You see, then, that a retreat experience and an experience in community is often that link to Hierarchy which must be had ere the individual initiate can rise to a greater level of awareness.

We come then to the subject of community as the repository of individual worth and individual genius. The flame that is enshrined in the community is the Flame of the Holy Spirit."

“Many years ago the fiat went forth from Lord Maitreya, the representative of the Cosmic Christ, that invocations offered unto Almighty God and the heavenly hosts in the name of the Christ and in the name of the I AM Presence would be answered by the power of the ten thousand-times-ten thousand. This means that every invocation given in the power of the spoken Word unto the Lord, or law, of your being is multiplied by cosmic forces, and the earth receives the light impact of that call one hundred million times its original release.

“This geometric formula is also multiplied by the square of the number of individuals who come together to give invocations in the name of the I AM Presence. Whereas the individual who decrees alone (albeit all one with God the I AM Presence) has the momentum of one, and although one is indeed a majority with God, when two or three come together in the name of the Christ, the light-action of the two is squared to the momentum of four, the light-action of the three is squared to the momentum of nine, and so forth, until the light-action of the ten is squared to equal one hundred and the one hundred is squared to equal ten thousand. This is the multiplication of the Lord's body and the geometrization of his consciousness on earth as it is in heaven.

Sunday Ritual

On Sundays we come together for an Ashram Ritual or The Sacred Ritual. We included songs and decrees, a reading and/or dictation, and the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Average attendance: 3 people.

Wednesday Service for Healing and Wholeness

We bring prayer requests before the altar. Attendees make calls for wholeness for themselves, each other, the community, and the world. We explore and share a rich variety of spiritual services and techniques on Wednesdays and a discussion time is often held at the conclusion of the service.

Average attendance: 2 people.

As the participating membership had spread it self too thin, the board decided to consolidate by suspending the Wednesday service in September. We look to the hope of increased participation to make this temporary.

Saturday Saint Germain Service

Attendees come together to do the decree work for personal and world transmutation. Songs, bhajans and meditation are incorporated. Some time is dedicated to a teaching segment for spiritual growth and a good portion of the service is used for more intense decree work.

Average attendance: 3 people.

Baptism, First Holy Communion, and the Sacrament of Anointing (April 2^nd)

Visiting minister, Rev. Carla Healy, administered the sacraments for two children in the congregation, held a special healing service, and shared with us during a fellowship time following the service. Many were inspired by her visit and several reported a profound healing from the anointing they received.

Attendance: 14 people.

Michaelmas Service

Attendees made calls for the empowerment of service as well as resolution of personal and world struggles. Songs, decrees, scripture recitation and Archangel Michael’s Rosary were applied in a service dedicated to the Archangel.

Attendance: 3 people.

Divali Service

Attendees celebrated and affirmed the victory of Krishna with bhajans, decrees, and reflection on the Bhagavad Gita. A new focus of Krishna was dedicated for the center.

Attendance: 4 people.

A Reflection on Ramadan

Attendees celebrated the gift of revelation and the mystic path with songs, decrees, and a reflection on the Koran, the ninety-nine names of Allah, and the mystic teaching of the Sufi Muslim.

Attendance: 3 people.

Christmas Eve Service

Individuals and families were able to come together to listen to the story of and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, to thank Jesus before the manger, and make calls for the birth of Christ within.

Attendance: 8 people.

Body, Mind and Spirit Expo

The Study Group had a booth at the Body, Mind and Spirit Expo at the Center of New Hampshire Holiday Inn in Manchester for the third year. Our booth display was redesigned this year and we offered music and meditation CDs as well as many wonderful Summit University Press books. We also raffled off the book “Messages from Heaven” and the audio tape “Spiritual techniques to Heal Body, Mind and Soul.” The main goal was to distribute informational fliers and make some one-on-one connections. We had at least one hundred visits and some good conversations. We had many requests from people to be added to the mailing list and to receive an informational package. Several people attended services and presentations and were enthusiastic about the Teachings.

You can visit us again at the Body, Mind and Spirit Expo at the Center of New Hampshire (700 Elm Street Manchester NH) on Saturday March 31^st from 9am-6pm. UPDATE: Unfortunately, we have been told that the Expo has been put on hold and will be rescheduled.

LET US COME TOGETHER TO HELP PROPEL ONE ANOTHER ALONG THE PATH AND SHARE IN COMMUNITY!

We have tried as a group to support one another on the Path – to encourage, exhort, and be a practical assistance when possible. We have held a couple of ‘pot-fortune’ fellowship times centered on the visit of a minister and the viewing of videos from headquarters at a member’s home. We are looking to establish this on a more regular basis by appointing a member to consistently organize them.

We have also added a small-group study as a time to come together to focus on applying the Teachings to our lives and for fellowship. The success of this has been only sporadic and we need to step back and see if we can get core group that is committed to meeting so the small group can flourish and eventually grow.

A member of the board from Keene, NH has discussed the possibility of organizing a small-group study in his area that would periodically get together with the group in Manchester. Please make calls and participate if possibly to help these efforts for the building of community be established and grow.

Teaching Segments

We have included teaching segments in services that help spur growth and bring focus to our decrees and worship. These have included readings from the world’s scriptures and the presenting of audio and video teachings from seminars and Church events.

Presentations and classes

We have used the ‘Sacred Adventure’ seven-level course in our small-group study and a team from the board has worked to put on monthly presentations. They have alternately been on a Saturday and then a Sunday with the Sunday one being a repetition of an earlier presentation. An overhead projector was used for visual aides. The Teachings provide an abundance of topics to address – the year’s topics follow:

Rituals, meditations, and spiritual techniques related to the topics have been used in services to tie into the presentations. All previous presentations are available to be rescheduled when interest is shown and an introductory presentation is available that has been used with seekers upon request.

We plan to continue with these presentations – developing new ones and updating and revising older ones as needed.

Sacramental preparation

From February to April two children in the community received instruction in preparation for being baptized and for one of them to receive his first Holy Communion. Instruction was administered by a trustee and family member and the sacraments were conveyed in a beautiful ceremony by visiting minister, Rev. Carla Healy.

STRENGTHS AND CHALENGES

We have been able to provide inspiring services and an abundant amount of teaching in the form of regular and well-presented presentations as well as teaching segments within the services. Our center has gathered a significant library of literature and videotapes available for members. A dedicated core group has worked to improve presentations and services and our presence at the local Expo.

Adding to these strengths, we have a conveniently located sanctuary in the center of the largest city in the state. Having this outside of a member’s home gives us the opportunity for consistent and abundant use without conflicting with the personal use of a home.

The challenge lies in such a small core group maintaining this activity while balancing home and work (though we know we have unseen support as well). Attendance tends to peek in the spring and the fall with scant attendance in mid-summer and winter. We look to build a greater sense of community and connective-ness and an aura that will help retain the seekers that periodically visit us and inspire the regular membership to greater participation.

It has also been a challenge to balance the intensity of services with a diverse group of attendees. We cannot allow the necessity of – meeting people where they are at and helping them grow – to remove the foundation of intense decree work needed to manifest our vision.

We envision a strong community where members share their talents, insight, light and love with vibrant services, committed small groups, practical spiritual instruction and opportunity for ministry. Please help this manifest with your prayers, support and your participation.

This is the call we have been applying for the last few months. It will be updated and modified with specifics and affirmation coming from our General Annual Meeting.
