The Judicial system contains the courts of the United States of America. The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land. The courts under the Supreme Court are the Federal courts. The courts decide what the laws mean and how the laws can be applied. They also decide if a law is constitutional, that is if it goes along with the rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

Executive

The Executive Branch of the United States government is headed by the President. It contains the President, the Vice President, and the members of the President's Cabinet. The job of the Executive Branch and the people in it is to make sure that the laws of the country are obeyed.
