C/A1C McDonald
I was born in Lexington, Kentucky on January 27, 1988. In 1993 I moved from KY to Virginia (near Langley Air Force Base) and started to home school. It was on my sixth birthday that I excepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior (He is the only One by the way). I lived in Virginia for five years after that and then my family moved to Sumter, SC. It was here in Sumter that I learned about the Civil Air Patrol. I had always been interested in the Air Force, but didn’t know how to go about getting into it. CAP showed me the way. I joined CAP in April and have loved every minute of it.
Future Hopes
I plan to go to the Air Force Academy and get my Architectural, Engineering, and Aerospace engineering degrees. After I graduate from the Academy, I hope to fly either the F-15E Eagle or the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter as an officer in the United States Air Force.
