"Ideas in a Jar," by Katie Molland

Looking through a window, I saw an interesting display. A sign in the neon lights flashed a curious phrase.

"Ideas in a Jar!"

It made me wonder what could be in that jar; and what ideas it would bring.

Artistic expression, cures for deadly diseases, new ways to clean up the environment? Also, what would be the side effects of such a product? New Technology for the military? Murder techniques?

What madman would put a product on the market that would improve his customers and their lifestyles, but could possibly bring the end to their existence, also?

I stumbled into the store to see what this product could be. As I reached the display, I could see past the neon haze which had blinded my vision before. I picked up the jar and read the label.

"Ink for Fountain Pens."
