Syndi Ooooooooooook, I'm finally sitting down to write my profile. My scene name is syndie. I'm a 32 year old nursing assistant, divorced, raising 2 lil Dommes and live just north of Tampa. I'm not sure how to put my current status at the moment, aside from single; having sadly put a LDR on hold. I have been in the Lifestyle actively for about a year now, after re-discovering it, dare I say, online. When I was about 19, I found myself in a different kind of relationship, not knowing it had a name at that time. It was the type of relationship I couldn't find again and I didn't know why; until about a year ago when boredom struck and I turned on my computer. Suddenly I realized it had a name, D/s. The first time I walked into my regular chat site room and watched for a bit, it was like a light bulb going off, and I have remained there since. I became a sponge, reading everything I could find; knowing this is where I had belonged all along. I know some may frown upon the "cyber-Lifestyle" but I feel there is alot to be learned and discovered in that venue, albeit there is also alot of "terribly wrong" things learned as well. I pride myself on helping newbies in my room, learn and discover themselves and their place within the Lifestyle. In my opinion, it is a good place for some to explore the realm of BDSM and its presence cannot be denied within the Community. I am not a "cyber-sub", I do attend munches and play parties as much as time/situations permit and have met some wonderful P/people that I am proud to consider my F/friends. Throughout all that I have experienced, one thing stands firm. I am home! What I like most about the Lifestyle is the diversity and the honor within it. Yes, the floggings are good too lol, but the pride and glow from pleasing your One is unsurpassed by any other emotion. My favorite toys are big "thuddy" floggers, learning to adore the wand and I have developed a liking for thick canes as well. Those whom I have had the honor of scening with have called me a painslut; personally I think I have a long way to go for that "name" , while I enjoy the pain aspect, I do not need it. Well that's just a glimpse of me, I do enjoy this group, although i do tend to lurk in the shadows, and look forward to learning more about the other members. If I can write this thing, so can you!
