Hanwei Returns to act in popular sitcom Don't Worry be Happy

Here are three reports  about Hanwei's return to acting. He took over Thomas Ong who was originally slated to act in this show. 

(Thomas Ong was sacked by MediaCorp Studio for breach of contract.)

 The first report appeared in the evening newspaper Shin Min Daily on 21st May. It reported that Hanwei will be taking over Thomas' role as Sam, a young manager of a cyber-cafe.

Report in Lianhe Zaobao the next day (22nd May):

Hanwei was shocked when told about what happened to Thomas, when contacted by the reporter.He did not know about it and wish Thomas good luck.

He was only informed of the role a day ago and studied the script till 5 am. He said he will try his best for this challenging role.

Report in Shin Min Daily on further interview with him (22nd May). Hanwei revealed that he had signed a five years contract with MediaCorp Studio recently. He said he had been discussing with the company for the last one to two months and found that they were sincere about the whole thing. He was also happy that despite his going backstage for two years, they have increased his salary to better than before and given him good terms.

He wished Thomas Ong well and hope that he will be happy
