Easy Cream Biscuits

Warm a 12" Dutch Oven

Place the flour with the baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.

Slowly stir in only enough Cream to form a soft dough.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured board, knead Lightly, and pat out (roll) to ½" thick.

Cut into biscuits.

Dip the biscuits into butter, (both sides) place in a well-oiled Dutch Oven and set aside for 10-15 minutes to proof.

Then bake until golden brown. 8-14 minutes.

Top 16 charcoal briquettes and Bottom 6 -to- 8 coals.

* If cream is less than 40% butter fat add 1-to-2 Tablespoons of melted butter.
