This website began through class assignments I started in Introduction to HTML at Canada College. The class met twice a week for two weeks beginning on July 24th as a credit, no credit or letter grade class. I decided to go for the letter grade which required that I emial the URL of the completed website to the class instructor by August 2nd 2000. To get started, I first had to decide weather I want to do a personal, information, or business website, I decided to do a personal website.
Here is a list of things I had to do for this project:
- write a description of my audience and goals
- create a flowchart of my website
- create a site organization chart for my website
- get some graphics for my website
- create a website (one home page with three linked subsequent pages with content, links, and graphics on each page, four pages in all)
- Since the class ended on August 7th, 2000, I have: added more links; more content to; and revised the content on this website to make it more clear, conscise, complete and accurate.
For the future, I will be looking to give certain word groups on this website more impact and emphasis by changing there font size, color or font type, and possibliy changing the related backgrounds; as well as adding images to complement the content.
