| Digital Planet Presents the Erickson S64 Air-Crane and assorted images of Military CH-54 Skycranes.Some versions of this Crane have been known to lift as much as 22.5 tons in Millitary form and I beleive the S64 can lift 12.5 tons in Standard Configuration. | Way back in 1974 when Our CN Tower was being finished the Crew and Pilot`s of Erickson Air-Crane flew "OLGA" to T.O and with the Precision of a surgeon they placed the final pieces of our beloved CN Tower in place!! Making Toronto one of the most Recognizable Cities in the World! Jeff Stein of Erickson has told me that "OLGA" is still in service with over 20,000 Hours on her Airframe and still going strong! What a Testiment to the Team at Erickson Air-Crane and their capabilities! Igor Sikorsky would be PROUD. |
