Because we have no indoor practice site, rattan practice is on hiatus until a suitable location can be found. The list also provides up to date information on sudden changes like cancellations and additions to regularly scheduled practices.

DIRECTIONS TO CAROUSEL PAVILION: Via Interstate 79 Take the 422 East exit - towards Butler Get off at the 356 Lyndora exit Make a left at the light .. go through 3 more lights and at the 4th (T intersection by Snack-N-Pack) make a left into Alameda park. Follow the road down the hill to the lower section of the park. The Carousel Pavilion is straight ahead at the stop sign (the round, white wooden pavilion on the left as you pull into the parking lot)

From Pittsburgh via Rt. 8 Get on 8 north. Take the Hansen Ave/Lyndora exit Follow Hansen until it comes to a T intersection (go left, up the hill on New Castle Road) Go straight through 3 more lights.. at the 4th (T intersection by Snack-N-Pack) make a right into Alameda park. Follow the road down the hill to the lower section of the park. The Carousel Pavilion is straight ahead at the stop sign (the round, white wooden pavilion on the left as you pull into the parking lot)

From the north via Rt. 8 Get on 8 south. Go down the big hill into the City of Butler and make a right at the first stop light onto West Penn Street. Stay straight on West Penn through 6 stop signs. The houses stop and the road will go through a wooded area... this is Alameda Park. The Carousel Pavilion is on the right at the next stop sign. DIRECTIONS TO MEMORIAL PARK: To get to Butler Memorial Park, make your best way to lower Alameda (see directions to the Carousel Pavilion above if needed) Instead of making a left into the parking area continue on the main road, to the right. Careful the speed limit is 25 mph and cops do sit on that road. You will come to a three way stop, go through it, then a four way stop, straight again and then to another four way. Make a left onto Mercer Street, go and through the four way stop. As you start to go up the hill the entrance is on the right. ( if you miss it, the very next road to the right will take you in as well ). We should be somewhere close to the front, near the swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts.
