Distinguished Club Program
The Distinguished Club Program is administered by Toastmasters
International (TI) and is a tool that TI uses to assess clubs and give the clubs something
to strive for. The goal of TI in setting this program is to keep the Toastmasters
organization growing and the clubs vibrant. The following details the requirements
and recognition bestowed on clubs for meeting specific requirements.
Membership Requirement
At year-end a club must have:
- at least 20 members, OR
- net growth of at least five new members
10 Goals
1. Two CTM's
2. Two more CTM's
3. One ATM-B, ATM-S, or ATM-G
4. One more ATM-B, ATM-S, or ATM-G
5. One CL, AL, or DTM
6. One more CL, AL, or DTM
7. Four new members
8. Four more new members
9. Minimum four officers trained each training period
10. One semi and one officer list submitted on time
Toastmasters International Recognition
Clubs that meet the membership requirement and do the following earn
recognition:
Achieves 5 of 10 goals
"Distinguished Club"
Achieves 7 of 10 goals
"Select Distinguished Club"
Achieves 9 of 10 goals
"President's Distinguished Club"
Toastmasters International recognizes the clubs with the aforementioned distinction
adorned ribbon which the clubs can display in their club meetings with their Toastmaster
banner.
