So do you think you're a good speaker?  As a member of Toastmasters you have the opportunity (if you choose) to test your speaking skills against not only your other club members but also other members in your Area, Division, District, and the World (I'm not kidding)!  The winners of all the District competitions go up against the other District winners at Regions and then onto the International Convention.  The winner of the International Speech Contest at the International Convention every August carries the title "World Champion of Public Speaking".

Each year clubs hold their competitions shortly followed by their Area competition and so and so forth on to the Division and District Levels.  The District Competitions are held in conjunction with the fall and spring Conventions.

What Competitions can I compete in?
There are four:  Table Topics, Humorous Speech, Evaluations, and International Speech.

  When are the Competitions?

Fall  - Table Topics and Humorous Speech
Spring - Evaluations and International Speech

What are the Requirements to Compete?
  -
A member in good standing of a club in good standing.
  - For the International Speech all contestants must have completed at least six speech projects in the Communication and Leadership Program manual
