Winter in the Catskills
There are many places to ski in the Catskills. If you prefer to stay in the backyard, you may want to try cross-country skiing. For those who like downhill skiing there are several ski resorts nearby.
Sleigh riding, snowboarding, snow tubing, tobogganing, snow-shoeing, or ice skating may be your choice. If you own a snowmobile, there are many nearby trails for your adventure.
Or you may just want to take a walk in the snow and enjoy the beautiful winter wonderland.
One of our favorite winter past times is feeding and watching the many variety of birds that come to our winter feeding stations. Often a few squirrels join the feast, and once in a while a deer strides through.
It may
be time to just relax and look out of the windows and enjoy a natural winter
