This is a short picture tour of the Sundown Country Retreat property. These pictures were taken in the late Spring of 2002 and the Summer of 2002.
Foxglove in the gardens.
Sundown Country Retreat guest house nestled in the pine trees.
The back yard - rolling acres of lawn.
The pool is a short distance from the house and now has a six foot high stockade fence around it.
Part of the back yard is wooded.
There are paths through the woods that lead to the stream that borders 600 feet of the back yard.
...where you can take some very beautiful pictures.
where you can wade through the water, or fish for trout.
Cross the rapids.
You can walk up stream.
Than you can take a raft...
...and ride back down.
When you get back to the swimming hole, park the raft and go for a swim.
Then either go back up stream and start all over.
Or you can continue downstream for a fun ride!
Or just take a walk along the stream and relax. Maybe even "pull up a rock" or a rocking chair, and sit for a while and listen to the white sound of water.
