| Hi everyone! Thanks for taking a peek at my page. I, like a million other people out there, absolutely LOVE Halloween! It's simply my most favorite holiday of the entire year! Therefore I'm dedicating a page to it, once again as a million other people have done. I realized my tastes ran on the wierd side and decided to indulge them all in one big, happy place! On this page you can find links to the real-life ghost hunters, strange phenomenon and the unexplained, as well as information on the true origins of Halloween and our customs as we celebrate them today in America. I'll also include information and links on El Dia de los Muertoes and All Soul's and All Saint's Days, because they too are part of the history of this celebration. (One quick note..a special thanks to Tripper's page and Spookville Manor for a lot of the backgrounds and clipart that you see here. You should go check it out, there's a BUNCH!) And without further ado, on to Halloween! UPDATE:Due to having to plan my wedding, site updates have been scarce. I apologize! | The first addition for a looooong time, the very first bit of info has gone up on the Black Cat page. Mostly early history of our relation with the four-legged Feline People, I intend to add more on the folklore and superstitions surrounding black cats and the history of how they got their bad rap! I'll also be including a link to a bio page of my own 6 lovelies so you can see my pack and read about their exploits and why they keep me so fascinated. |
