Kagome is a 15 year old girl that just happened to stumble back into the Sengoku Jidai through a well. She lives with her mom, brother, and grandfather by a shrine that they take care of. Most of the people, during Inuyasha's time, think that she looks like Kikyou. It turns out that she is the reincarnation of her, which is why she has those special powers (spotting the shikon no kakera, the power of the arrow she shoots...)
*Personality/Traits:
Kagome seems to be a very brave girl (not like all those 'damsel in a distress' kind.) She knows how to take care of herself in certain situations, and knows when to back off. It's kind of strange though, that she would always wear her school uniform (it seems to be a battle uniform now...). Oh wells.
It's pretty obvious that Kagome likes Inuyasha (she even admits it, and cried about it in book 18). Though, he always seems to be the one that shows more affection than she does (surprise surprise). I just hope that it's a happy ending between those two!! ^_^
