Owners usually name a truck after their children or someone close to them, and occasionally using family names.

Sajeev means "lively" in Sanskrit. (Jeev means life.) Another variation of the same name which is more common in North India is Sanjiv. I do not know the meaning of the other name - probably it's an Arabic word.
