Moonlight's hand creeps over the steel hilt of hikari and slides beneath the silver dragon forming the rapier handle, slowly she unsheathes it the blade glowing dully in the lighting the inscription Mo meamna caiohain thu being distinctable from the blade. Her darkened eyes turn to her ani an inflection of her wrist flickering the blade down a tad as she waits.

Hakujou smirks widely, his vampyric fangs bared upon a dark chuckle that escaped his magic-enwreathed form. He turned, facing his imouto and took a bow to her, shadows winding about his form to return him to his usual outfit that he adorned ever since his induction into Heaven. As he rose, his palm pulled from the ground an orb of darkness, clenching it into the blade of Gladius de Umbra in his palm. "..Ladies first."

Moonlight nods briefly apparently showing him the same courtesy but not to the extent, this wasn't because she wasn't fond of her brother, just that it was these brief seconds that she worked the intricate weave of her psyche to a state that it was possible indeed to face him with as much conviction as she could muster. Playing hikari before her the threads of light twined out enduing the blade with an ethereal glow, the azure hue brushing her features in its gaze. An ungodly smirk curls her lips a hint of death in her eyes before she dashes swinging with a predatory grace to the right before swinging back in her blade resting atop his for a second, a spark and a clang shattering the air, her blade meeting both brothers at once before she leaps back flicking her blade with infinite ease upwards to his vulnerable chin "Tout chey mes frere."

Hakujou smirks softly, darkness and light intermingling within the air in a soft spiral that whirled about them and tangled through the combined aura of darkness and light that personified everything in the world today. And his darkest side was out tonight, a narrowed glance at his sister given as he smirked demonically. Drawing back Gladius de Umbra, he lunged high into the air, his frame mending into darkness? He then gave a soft cry, landing before he a mere second or so away, shadows sweeping outward as his aura launched itself in a tidal wave of ebon disruption. And he spun up to his feet, dragging Gladius de Umbra through the dirt until the blade would try and trace across the form of his sister and draw first blood swiftly.

Moonlight's eyes watch her ani's every movement, every breath was clinically monitored by her senses. It hadn't been that long since she had had to watch her every breath and fear for her life every night, and if her ani thought she was dulling, she wasn't. Rearing back with all the swiftness she had inherited from her forefathers she put space between herself and his blade, space enough to brink hikari betwixt the two again. Today just wasn't his lucky day. Leaning forwards onto her blade she encourage him to place pressure onto his with a subtle swordplay technique she had mastered some time ago. Whipping back from the pressure she removes it swiftly as she takes a step back, the distances renewed again encouraging him to bend to her will and fall forth to hikari's rating razor edge which re-emerged from a mesh of light, woven threads of her aura made to disorientate the unwary to her cunning schemes. He made by the prevader of death but she was not where she was now for no reason. Her smart wits had kept her alive thus far and as she glances up a cold cobalt hint starts to tinge her irises, her training beginning to sink it's insidious way into her outlook, there would be no turning back now and she knew as much..

Hakujou grinned slightly as she would move swiftly, his body twisting once more before he swiftly would shuffle backwards, agility ensnaring him for but a moment as he bent backward and hand sprung himself away from her swiftly, to land in a crouch quite the distance away. He gave a devious grin, maybe even a true smile, laced with enough sadism to fill a canyon. As he rose to his feet, he struck Gladius de Umbra across the air, and spun about to do so again, sending trained razors of ebon disruption to crease the air, their paths entwining to create a much more destructive abomination. And he charged forth with equal swiftness and agility, training his eyes and his blade upon his sister's side to strike if she did not move to evade the whirls and blurs of ebon that befell her.

Moonlight's eyes traces the shadows faintly before her aura swells, the threads of light weave amongst one another, dancing almost, the cold strands caressing it's partner before they reach out an ethereal cry piercing from her chasms, or that is where the sound seems to emanate, the cry like a call from death to it's mate asking it to dance, enough to freeze the hearts of mortal me. The light strikes out ensnarling the shadow's form in it's own energy, nullifying it as the two mingle together dissipating into air before her head cants swiftly to the side towards her ani, a singular over proportionately large wing stretching out to shield her side to him the sleek ivory feathers being pushed into his face as Umbra's pierces the wing, a wave of crimson staining her otherwise pure wings, again baring the brunt of the attack. She eases the wing out pushing it towards her ani's face to momentarily blind him maybe before she yanks to forth towards her violently, an updraft of wind kicking up a flurry of snow behind her before she plunges from the white seemingly from nowhere, hikari edged to swing below his blade and arc into his abdomen in a clean deep motion. Spring back she retreated into the swirl of snow disappearing again rather like a unicorn into the mists, a phantom, a mystery, a ghost who roamed but never was real. Though the sound she'd made and the patter of crimson life etched into the desolate snow proved that she did exist, the iridescent eyes hidden in the vast expanse of snow as she awaits her ani, her senses again train expertly to him.

Hakujou narrows his eyes, his footing shifted upon the ground as her wing sent ivory feathers and hues of crimson into his eyes, before she lunged forth to strike. He narrowed his eyes and twisted Umbra in order to parry, his body turning sharply as he did so to avoid her blade, and another intermingling vortex of shadow and light roamed about ensnaring the edges of their auras before fading off into the night with ebon wings spread, he gave a slight snicker at her fading into the snows, and simply closed his eyes, for a simple disruption in the existence of the battlefield rung in his mind like a bell, ripples in the pool of his subconscious that threatened to drive him insane. He'd wait.

Moonlight pauses out in the flurry of snow her hands fluttering to her wing swiftly pressing over the light wound and holding it in for a moment. Turning towards her ani's position her eyes narrow, it was time to stop playing games now. Brushing hikari gently with her fingertips her own blood ebbs down the blade an almost mute whinny responding from the blade. Turning it she plants the tip firmly into the ground her aura circling her before it erupts into flame, the cold silver fibres dancing around her seeming to make her unobtrusive form all the more dominating and less fragile. Looking down the aura sweeps out into the blade causing a dull glow, which gradually by shades becomes brighter until it becomes painful to look at. Suddenly whispers echo the woods seeming to spring forth from every orifice the whole area engulfed in the ethereal energy before everything becomes deadly silent again only the whispers of winds indicating that there was indeed life. A shrill noises echoes outwards almost like a shockwave created by some long lost civilisation seeking solace in it's privacy trying to ward away intruders before a unicorn steps from hikari's blade, purity itself in form of a creature, though no ordinary unicorn, this unicorn was made of the essence of her being, of light. It's angular head turns to her, expressive liquid ebony eyes resting to her before it lowers it's head, ivory horn gleaming briefly before silent steps carry it across the snow, seeming to glide over the snow and not sink into it, power and grace compact into equine form. Closing her eyes a flurry of snow raises up to the side of her ani snowflakes glinting and sweeping towards him, the bitter cold they contain dashing at his face trying to temporarily blind him as the unicorn dashes out of the snow using it's bulk to charge him down it's horn lowered to skewer him rather like barbeque meat. Strong hooves flying out with grip towards him, powerful quarters pushing its every movement as it dances with his death.

Hakujou narrows his eyes slightly, such a creature borne of purity and light undeserving or rather, unable to be looked upon by him, such a being of darkness that was the personification and embodiment of darkness that ensnared the domains of heaven, hell, and torn planes in-between. Games would no longer take place indeed, as within his emptied palm, fingers curled inhumanely as if grasping her skull.. Shadows and demonic energies embodied his palm, undulating into an orb borne straight of his own devious and sadistic mind that seemed to pull at every other negative energy about. Yes, indeed, as it continued to pull, the inside would hollow, and feed upon this reality itself to fill once more. He narrowed his eyes, watching the elemental of sorts approach him speedily, through it's misted veil of snow that threatened to blind him. But, with a lurch backwards, he screamed, a loud, angered scream that shook the very plane and disrupted the image of everything into perpetual darkness for a moment. He then plunged the orb into the earth below, and as gravity and time magic did its work, he smirked and stepped back.. First one.. Then two.. The equine form his sister had summoned has put the noose about it's neck, and he was about to give it a push off the ledge into it's failing asphyxiation. The pure creature's life was threatened, and crackles of light made the darkness scream in the hole that remained so empty there wasn't even a colour to it.. For it was a transparent void, only known to the pure summoned creature of his sister's creation. Futile attempts to escape were made, before finally, the beautiful horn of the creature fell below the earth's edge, and into the widening void. He clenched his palm from which it was summoned into a fist, and with a shrill piercing cry the field disappeared into the earth, taking the creature with it. He smirked. "..Dear sister. I bid thee good luck." Cries of agony resonated as a crimson light bore through the centre, and erupted out, into a gateway of pure madness and hell etched into the existence of these mortal beings that their eyes should not lay upon. Slowly, it grew, encompassing him, before erupting outward the shadows flew forth in a blind rage of razor edges, screwed, arced, twisting, a complete abomination to existence in itself. Good luck? Yes, for now, the fight had begun. From his sides he drew his emptied palms, one facing up and the other down, as if cradling a nonexistent form within his hands. He muttered devious incantations, a mere whisper in the night before death lent him the fang of it's bringer, the scythe he had dubbed Garyoutensei, into his grasp. He clutched the staff, and brought it above him, turning it so that shadows undulated in a horrible maelstrom.. And they took on the form of a skull, jaws agape, ready to swallow his sister into their demonic grasp, for he was not going to trifle around if she were tired of playing.

Moonlight's eyes narrow, the cobalt hue sweeping out and washing to the edges, it was done now, there could be no return as it began to bubble, the light inside of her insidious to some but beautiful to others, seeming almost to consume her as the unicorn was slain, it hadn't deserved death, it hadn't done anything, it was pure and now the foul wretch that had snatched it's life was about to pay, and pay dearly. Silently she turns towards her ani, a rumble almost the oppression of thunder rising up as her eyes narrow perceptibly further as her very core shakes. Whisper return, snared souls unable to escape the ethereal plain, neither alive nor dead, just there. Fluttering around her they weave into wings the light closing in on her form as the second pair of wings made their presence known, translucent in essence though larger than the first pair of feathered wings which lay atop of them. A soft groan parts her lips as her head falls to her chest her form floating upwards in a ghastly dance of energies, though she was not yet finished, a wrenching sound splits the air as her spine creaks the final pair of wings unfurled, ebony feathers unfurled and drenched with the crimson of her blood, the plumage dark enough to make a raven weep with envy yet stained enough to make a demon fear the bloodshed endued to her own self by the emergence of such things. The six wings rearrange themselves shuffling slowly into order the two sets of feathered wings sending little ruffles of wind towards her ani before her head lifts cobalt eyes appraising his dark form, not recognising him as anything but something to be exterminated by her holy form, that of a seraphim. "Thou hast sinned infidel and by mine blade thou willst die." She shifts hikari the blade screaming as massive amounts of light energy are pushed though it's tempered steel blade singing outwards in a web of light almost before all seems to fall to an eyrie silence, maybe the storm had passed over, maybe he'd live to fight another day, maybe she'd stopped her own heart with the sheer amount of energy that was coursing though her veins. Or perhaps not. The light rushes in a sucking sound almost mute filling the glade before it gathers in a ring formation around her slim form the wings flicking of their own accord. Suddenly she lurches forwards almost seeming as if she will fall into the ring before it explodes outwards with exponential growth dashing over the forest and cleansing it in it's holy essence a dead rotting tree creaking with dread as it is knocked over as the wave spreads out as a ripple over a pond rushing at her ani at the speed of light, everything dead, diseased or darkened falling at it's wayside as the whole forest seems to groan in grief the seraphim angel's wrath incurred.

Hakujou narrowed his eyes upon her, yet his soul screamed and curled within his heart in sheer and utter fear at the presence before him. Still, he was mortal in soul, maybe not it mind, maybe not in body, but in soul, and the image of the highest being in the great hierarchy of heaven sent his mind into a fit to try and scramble for some hope that it was all a dream. Twice before, the wrath of the Seraphim had befallen him, and both had ended up in his demise and resurrection. But, no longer would he be purged from this land, and with another deafening cry, he proved such. His spine arched forward violently, and as his ebony wings spread from his shoulders, they would be ripped apart by an unholy energy far beyond his comprehension, streams of darkness piercing through everything and anything with it's solidifying darkness.. And as the deepened hues of the night would loom about his frame, the mere silhouette of six wings loomed behind him, so very close, his very own pinnacle was to being obtained. Yet, he was too late in his extension, and in desperation, the image erupted outwards, the chains baring his soul now taking shape in the darkened arcs webbing themselves across the land in another plane that left their image visible in this one. The holy onslaught was halted but for a moment rippled with threads of darkness that held it off.. Before the energies suddenly faded, and left a stillness in the auras of everyone, himself, his sister, the land, and everything that was in-between or beyond. His sacrificial outburst that he had clung to for some sort of release had managed to save him this time, yet in the aftermath, he stood rigid, his pupils empty, his body motionless as mangled remains of his wings hung low, blood staining his form. He then collapsed upon his knees, and uttered almost silently, begging almost for this to not be true; for his defeat to not fall a third to the unyielding powers of the seraph angel his sister embodied beneath the surface. "No.. I was there.. I was--.." With one final sigh he collapsed forward, his body a blood-drenched heap upon the earth as his consciousness ebbed and the silhouetted chains faded.

Moonlight blinks slightly her six wings fluttering before she lands to the floor dull cobalt eyes appraising his form before on by one the raven blood drenched feathers of her 3rd pair of wings fell out as inexorable as the snow, the 2nd pair fading before her eyes seem to almost snap, responding to the chime of some ancient bell, like a trained monkey. She shakes her head violently dropping to her knees blue green eyes appraising the snow mottled with blood, horror tinged in them before she glances up to her ani. She drags herself forcefully up to her feet and runs to him wrapping her arms around his chest rocking him gently "You're going to be alright... you're going to be alight... please be alright." She looked down tenderly brushing a raven bang from over his eyes not aware of what had happened..

Hakujou's eyes had remained open, the crimson paling for as his consciousness ebbed away they too began to fade. Slowly, his eyelids fell across them until the whitened orbs were closed. His blood would surely be staining her hands now, and through his unconsciousness his lips still moved in a silent whisper, his body and soul still pulling him to plea for the outcome that already occurred to be a simple dream.

Moonlight whines softly her head falling to her ani's chest her eyes burying into his robes not cared that his blood if forming a mask against his skin, little guttural sounds issue from her throat. Was she crying? It must have been impossible, she'd forgotten how to a long time ago. Emotions that Frosty had wiped out along with a lot of her soul, but yet the sobbing sounds continued her shoulders shaking as her wings flickered behind her. "Please no...Please not again...why must they all die.."

Hakujou's mind had been thrown into a flat spin; he wasn't dead, yet still he would see his very existence flash before him in a cyclone of pain and then redemption that had carried him from the bowels of existence into the thriving pinnacle in which he had obtained for himself, everything seeming to wrap around him in a chilling torture that taunted his subconscious as he tried to awaken himself. Yet he had truly given everything that he had in his body to survive, and the price to pay for that was this state in which he reached out for nothing and continued to fall, unawakening.

Moonlight sniffles softly crystalline tears mottling with crimson blood creating a strange mergence of the two on her face before she squeezes her ani's limp form softly unable to leave it in her grief. She nuzzles against his heart willing it's every beat, trying to breath every breath for him the guilt eating at her insides like a voracious wolf. She whimpers slightly choking on her tears "please don't leave me ani.. I don't know what I'd do if you did.."

Hakujou's body shifted, his heart still beating faintly as his breaths came out in combined sighs that were so weak they were nearly silent. He willed himself to speak, his words slurred into another escaping sigh as he gave what energy he had mustered into reassuring his sister that he would be fine. "I won't.."

Moonlight nuzzles his chest finally lifting her head from it, her bangs covered in congealed blood, her face masked making her look rather the demon of the night. She gives a weak relieved sigh "good.." before she sits back against her hands not leaving his side for a moment with concern, that and she'd blown herself out for a while.

Hakujou's body would shift every few minutes, as energy ebbed back into his body slowly, but only with the remembrance of a painfully memory, strangely.. And by the time he would regain his consciousness, undoubtedly he'd wish he were still comatose in state. His body shivered slightly, and the nerves upon his fingertips and in what remained of his wings sent them twitching to life slowly. Hakujou gave a slight groan as he rose, instantly arching in pain as the stinging blade of the air drowned into his wounds, the pain carried upon the breeze through him almost tenfold and making him fall back to the ground, giving all but a wince in pain. Slower, he tried to rise again, his eyes blinking almost sleepily.
