Moonlight comes from a long line of devils, the Evidevels. Initially christened Tsuria she was a powerful dark demon. At the age of 4 she was abandoned by her parents as news spread the dark force (Lord Vervain) was coming to take the three infants of dark, shadow and light (Tsuria and her 2 brothers.) Tsuria and her older brothers Darbracken and Pallin respectively wandered into the woods and stayed there until Moonlight was 6 Pallin 7 and Darbracken 9 honing their skills. Moonlight could transform into animals Darbracken was a swords master and Pallin could control the weather... At that age Pallin and Darbracken were found as they played hide and seek in the forest and taken Tsuria stayed in the cave she was hiding in until night then worried she searched for her brothers...but of course they weren't there. Lord Vervain took Darbracken and Pallin to his realm and trained them viciously and because Darbracken was always more skilful than his little brother it ended every night with Pallin being beaten an inch within his life, every night Darbracken would watch his brother suffer through the bars in his cell he wanted to be with him then to help him, but that wasn't the lords plan...Darbracken waited wearily as the slow years dragged by, thoughts drifted to his sister Tsuria, why hadn't she come to their aid, why must he rot so, an almost kill his own blood every night, he grew bitter and blamed it all on her. Meanwhile Tsuria spent her childhood alone watching at the edges of the forest seeing other children play and grow up happily a mere shadow of her young happy self. At the age of 15 Pallin escaped and returned to his 14 year old sister tired very weak and darkened by his experiences, almost silent, she nursed him back to health still too fearful to go in search of Darbracken. Pallin started to become better he even said a few words to Tsuria now and again but she was still lonely, so she adventured and it lead her to heaven's gates, disguising herself with white wings she joined and became Moonlight, Pallin was 17 by now and all thought of Darbracken had almost gone from her mind until one night...The thunder grew oppressive over heaven and darkness fell unusually early then a ball of wings appeared then spread and revealed Darbracken. He was angry that his sister had not come to save him and blamed her, under Vervains careful torture he had become totally dark and twisted, he no sense of remorse, and after killing Vervain (or so he thought) he went after Moonlight and succeeded in killing her, but Azael Moonlight's husband at the time ripped out someone's heart and placed it in her body so she may live. Darksakabatsu had taken Moonlight under his wings as a fatherly figure by then and when Darbracken returned the two battled, after many fights between the two Darbracken became ill because he didn't feed himself or look after himself. Darksakabatsu healed him and showed him that those who are dark can be also compassionate. The two became firm friends and a lot of other adventures occurred but Darbracken never forgave Moonlight and was forever trying to make her unleash Tsuria. They brought back their parents to life (Dar had formerly killed them due to Vervain) and Midnight (Tsuria's father) tried to make Tsuria his weapon of death. Today Moonlight is scarred by the various training methods she had undergone, she trusts very few people and is generally described as insane, lacking mercy or fear, she will even kill her own kin. Taken in by Hope and Rocket after a terrible battle which left her almost dead she came to see them as her parents, after a long unsettled period where she would allow no one to care for her. Suddenly she had family again. Seeing two of her adoptive brothers, Kakuzen and Hakujou as real brothers she slowly learnt to trust again or at least to a point, her other brother Dracion was kept at an arms length. Finding her daughter to be Colipso after a long time wondering where Celes, her daughter, had gone she tried her best to renew their relationship with varying degrees of success.
