Sunmade Toy Fox Terriers

Kathy Bebereia and her husband Larry Freitas would like to thank you for stopping by their web site. Here at Sunmade we live on 10 acres in Tulare Ca. which is located between Fresno and Bakersfield in the heart of farm and dairy land. We own our own cattle business and haul livestock. Our dogs are our kids and we derive hours of entertainment and joy from them. I do show, but our dogs are real dogs and part of our family. We do not do much breeding and only occasionally have litters.
I have showed, raised, and trained Australian Shepherds since 1978. During this time I have competed in obedience, working trials, conformation, and have recently played around with agility.

Due to an illness, I had to slow down with the big dogs, and the TFT's let me do the dog thing without all the hair, and physical work of handling big dogs. We got our first TFT as a pet in 1998, and that was all it took to convince us that these characters were going to be part of lives. Now we have four TFT's, 2 Aussie's, 1 adopted JRT, and 1 Rat Terrier all living in harmony, and chaos. I will always have an Aussie or two around and keep in touch with that breed that I love so much.

We have bred some nice little show dogs recently and have done very well with them in the show ring against tough competition. I am constantly learning new things about this breed. Our goal is to eliminate the CHG (Congenital Hypothyroidism with Goiter) in our breeding program, and keep checking the other health issues. We are trying to breed clean TFT's that fit within the standard and have nice sound temperaments.
