When we saw Mollie we knew she was the one. Another couple wanted her too but we kept her with us because we just knew she was going to be ours. Mollie was a timid girl at first and very, very shy twords men. It took a good year for her to firmly believe she was ours and for her to completely trust us. It was always on her terms...ALWAYS! Even when she was sick it was on her terms when she wanted to be sent to the rainbow bridge. There were up times and down times. We thought about returning her once but decided against it because we knew she would come around. I am so glad we let her become who she really was..A sweet but shy girl who loved everyone she met. Her curly tail would wag or should I say whip when we came home from work and she would jump at the sliding door and lock us out, which drove us nuts, but again, her terms. She was our Mollie Girl, as we used to call her, and always will be. We will miss her cockroach (laying on her back with her feet in the air), her whippy tail, her beautiful eyes, the way she played like a real dog, her talkative nature when she wanted something from us, and of course her being here with us. We Loved her so much and miss her dearly.
To you Mollie i wish you peace and fun frolicing at the bridge. Mommy and Daddy miss you so much but we will see you again and then we can really get the party started. We love you our Mollie Girl. May John take care of you and love you like we did. |
