Shannie was rescued from a river and never claimed. Apparently, she had been found by some hunters tied to the bumper of their vehicle. They brought her to their home, from where she escaped, ending up in the river. I adopted her in 1982, and she lived to be approximately 13 years of age. She was CKC tattooed, but her owner could not be traced as her breeder did not maintain breeding records.
