The Fonz is back!
P.O.D once said - we are, we are, the youth of the nation! And the B's are
certainly the youth of Sunnyside. In the local derby the B's started sluggishly but they knew they would come good
after hiring a PI to disguise himself as the Palm tree on the wall in the Pavilion.
In a revelation only revealed after the 6 jugs were consumed by the victors, the
B's got some crucial evidence prior to the game of a team planning session after
training by the A's. Click here to see the crucial photographic evidence.
Or maybe here (both photos were taken very
late on Thursday night). Some vital lobbying during the week by Murray Mcaw saw
some old school C teamers turning out, Drag'm & Dirty. Both were instrumental
in the B team coming away the victors. The Fonz, Bloody Hippy and Merts had
their first game of the season with the Bloody Hippy even getting a goal! After
going down by two goals mid way through the first half the B's started to claw
their way back into the game and by the time Pommy Nige had blown the whistle
for half time, the B's were only down 2-1 (thanx to a very well directed own
goal by one of the the A's backs). Then came one of those moments that just
can't be explained. Fran Uitloop was on her daily walk around the secure
facility of Sunnyside when she came over and offered some words of wisdom to the
B's, they were joking about Timmy Tackles penis at half time again when Fran
said "numbers 4 and 7", "numbers 4 and 7". Well Big Nige (4)
had a bloody blinder and so did Bones (7). The B's just knew those boys were
going to be the difference. The second half was a precession of chances with
Bloody Hippy getting a nice headed goal and Drag'm making Mulvie his bitch once
and for all, slotting one past the goalie after out-running Mulvie for the ball.
3-2 the B's are club champs for the early part of the season and are looking
forward to the next torrid encounter.
Highlights
1. Nice work on the strip Norts, the boys looked well sharp.
2. Big Nige's bird, for bringing him home from a special weekend
in time for football on Sunday.
