Blinkers Bags Three!!!

The Strikers pull off a porn star finish once again, coming from behind. But fall one short of the victory with the game finishing in a three all draw against Richmond. It was a bang'n display from the form striker Blinkers Norton as he quite rightly kept the blinkers on and slotted away three of the best on Sunday. After talking himself up at a strikers strategy meeting on Friday night, Bones was not as prominent as he promised he would be. This was after losing the finger on the jug game four times in a row! Poor old Bones was a blithering mess on Friday night, which could be the reason for him not showing his true potential in the midfield on Sunday. I have heard from the skipper that it wont be a problem anymore with Bones being re-assigned to the back line for the rest of the season. The Strikers did well to bitch and moan at each other the most-in-one-game this season. There was even a threat on the life of the skipper from a former Canterbury Special Under 8's rep! Both did managed to kiss and make-up after the game and put the experience down to Norts getting all the goals and no one else. Scotty and Neamo are doing some good work at the back and if it wasn't the worst bounce in the world Unco would of stopped the dribbler he let through his legs. It was reminiscent of the Dexter Rag'm coaching video from the cricket season, Unco did say he was "not there" on Sunday, a few of the boys did agree with him on that note.
