Say it aint so Tones
The saying goes if it aint broke don't fix it, well there was
something else that was broke apart from the Strikers hearts after being spanked
by the A's 4-2 on Sunday. Tony had career threatening injury on Saturday, just one day
before the most important game of the year for the Strikers. To see
the just received x-ray courtesy of the nice ladies in the radiography ward at
Christchurch Hospital (Viewer discretion is advised) Click
here. I know you might think this would end any mans career but I have just
a sneaky suspicion that Tones has got the will power pride to be back at his
intimidating best very soon.
Well there is not a lot to be said about the game apart from the
A's reminding the B's who is who's bitch in the club. Not even the experience
from a founding member of the Strikers, Dexter Ragm could stop the rot.
But never mind I'm sure the Strikers will be able to put the
record straight at the end of the Season to claim the inaugural Archie Trotter
Trophy.
