Strikers Snubbed By Sunday League
Well the Strikers went down to a well executed game plan by
Sandridge B. Sandridge waited for the
Strikers to lose the ball while on attack, then fed the ball to their really
fast striker and let him score.
Captain Ron has sent a letter to the Sunday League pointing out
their inability to tell the Strikers of a ground change, resulting in a very
irate Hippy (if their is such a thing).

> Hello Sue, I am the captain of the Sunnyside B team.
>
> Yesterday we played Sandridge B at Avonhead Park. The draw stated that we
were to play at Beckenham Park. No members of our team were notified of the
ground change and it was only by chance that one of our players was talking to a
player form Sandridge that we found about the ground change. As I only found out
about the ground change on the weekend, I could not reach all of my players so
we only had a squad of 11 at Avonhead Park, with two players going to Beckenham
Park as per the draw.

> A couple of weeks ago there was a ground change and we were not notified.
You told Nigel Ransley in reply to an e-mail he had sent to you regarding the
resulting win by default to Korea that you had spoken to Bob Fisher about the B
teams ground change. Bob Fisher is a member of Sunnyside A and he has told me
that he was only informed of the ground change for his team and not our team.
> You also stated that it was no fault of the Sunday League that we had lost
by default. I think that this week proves that we should not of lost by default
to Korea, You have failed to inform any members of our team twice of ground
changes resulting in a loss by default and an under strength team for another
game. I think it would be appropriate for the game we lost by default to Korea
being replayed or at least a draw being given as the result and not a win by
default to Korea.
>
> I understand you must have a hard time informing people of ground changes
at late notice, but from not being informed twice of ground changes we have lost
by default and had players go to the wrong park. Could you please look into this
and ensure that a member from our team is informed of any future ground changes.
>
> Also I would like a decision made on the points we lost from the default
you awarded to Korea when we were not informed of the ground change.
