Give me life
And set me free.
I am locked in my cage.
My eyes can't hold their weight.
My thoughts very much alive.
The picture so clear;
I see a man-
So handsome he is.
He takes me in his arms,
Dancing with me around the room,
His strong hands resting on my back-
So gently, so full of love
Like I am a fragile doll.
His eyes locked with mine,
Staring so deeply.
That's when I knew-
He was the one.
Not just lust this time.
It was a sensation-
One of being wanted,
Being cared for-
Requited love.
When he comes
We will be one.
I will be free!
I will be alive!
