I remember the days
When I was your angel.
When your every word
Made the sun shine each day.
The way you made me feel
I was so beautiful
And you would always be here
To comfort and help me heal.
Those days our love felt so right.
Nothing could tear us apart.
I could see our future
And know you'd hold me one night.
Is this all but a dream
Never to become real?
Am I to forever hear my cries
Because nothing's what it seems.
I never want to lose you
But it seems you're letting go.
My heart filled with so much pain
