Church Choir
The Church choir of C.S.I Church of Hope, Mepparamba is one of the prominent choir groups in the Palakkad town area.  Differing from the Choir concept of the Anglican churches, the choir is sung mostly during the festivals and special occasions.  The Church choir got a boost with the arrival of Rev. Jose Peter who is interested in the development of the Choir team.  Now nearly 30 members are part of the Church choir. More Junior members are waiting to enter the Church choir in future.
The members
The following are the members of the Choir team of the C.S.I Church of Hope, Mepparamba.  In Soprano there are 11 members, Bass 11 members, Alto 5 members and Tenor 5 members and the total strength is 32.

Achievements
The Mepparamba Choir team is the joint winner of Palakkad Ecumenical Movement Christmas Carol singing competition December 2004 with Robinson Memorial Church choir.  The song "Paduvin Sammodamai" was sung during the competition in which all prominent choir team's of the Palakkad area participated.  The second prize was won by the St.Raphael's cathedral choir.

New Organ
A new Church organ was dedicated to the Church by Rev. Jose Peter during the Christmas morning service of 25th December, 2004.  This was made possible because of the contribution made by the Church members and friends in India and abroad.

The Practice of the Choir team is done usually on every saturday  evening of the week. 
Church Organ
A New cover for Church organ was dedicated in the Church in October 2004 made  from the contribution to the Organ fund.
This month's performances
Church choir sang during the Convention of the church between 19th and 21st of Nov, 2004 and also during the Nov 28th 2004..
New Staff notation
The new revised staff notation of the 'kristheeya geethangal' is now used in the Church during all the services from the begginning of this month by the Church organist. With this the Church has become one of the first churches in the whole of Malabar to use the revised staff notation.  This staff notation was compiled by Sri. E.M.Selvaraj of the Calicut Cathedral Choir.  Many of the songs compositions were altered and edited for getting more harmony in this book and the lyrics were added.  There is a section devoted to the traditional songs also.
