Sunscreen has come a long way from sticky white lotion to, now, sporty sunscreen, shimmer sunscreen, fake tan with build in sunscreen. There is no excuse for not using them. I am not involve with any of the companies that produce these products. I just created this website because I found that most sunscreen label can be really difficult to understand. (some of them can even be misleading!!!) Time and time again, I see several sunscreen on the market with the label "broad-spectrum"; but when I read the ingredient list, they contain only uvb and partial uva protection. This is so annoying!!! We won't turn dark but we are allowed to get cancer! gezzzz

Note: to protect against UVA, sunscreen must offer protection upto 400 nanometer. Some sunscreens offer full protection against sunburn from UVB, but partially protect your skin against depletion of immune protection caused by UVA rays. We all need to know how to read the label and know what they really are.

It is the intention of this website to

1) help you to understand sunscreen label;

2) help you make up your mind in choosing sunscreen that is best for you;

3) inform you about how effective your sunscreen is. If your sunscreen does not offer complete coverage against UVA and UVB, it is simply not good enough.
