for Holding your Reunion
"Well duh, we always
hold our reunion at a hotel with banquet facilities." How about doing something different? Maybe
something on the cheap, maybe not...
- Rent the at
$100.00 for two hours, with up to fifty
people. Available from 5 - 7 pm Sat or
Sunday, 7 - 9 pm Fridays, 11 - 1 pm Sundays. Then
have a B-B-Q/Picnic.
- Sell a block of Little Theater tickets to class
members and meet informally at a restaurant or bar uptown
after the show.
- (Will have more information in the near future.
11/14/97) Rent one of the community centers
through H.A.R.D. and hold a Pot Luck Dinner.
Some of the community centers have a stage, kitchen area.
- Find a place/community center and have a wine/beer
tasting party.
- Have a theme dinner, like a murder mystery
party.
- Get those guys involved in a B-B-Q and bring sports
equipment.
- Take Amtrak from the Hayward Depot and travel to
Lake Tahoe or Reno for a weekend.
- A tailgate party at the Union City DriveIn.
Don't forget the popcorn.
- Anyone live on a dead end street? How about a Block
Party.
- Hayward has weekend Wine/Beer, Crafts Fairs on B St.
Why not arrange a reunion around one of the fairs?
- A River Rafting weekend party.
- Arrange a party around the Hayward Fly In, in
August.
- A day at Don Castro Park. (Someone has to be
there awfully early in the morning to claim a spot.)
- Picnic & Fishing party at Lake Chabot.
- Maybe you can hold a gathering in the quad at Sunset
hs and have a band.
- A scavenger hunt.
These are just suggestions and of course you don't have to pay
any attention to them. It's just a thought. These are ideas
that are on the cheap and very different from the usual banquet
dinners. If you have any ideas to add to the list by all
means send an email.
Have you heard of the Mini-Reunion?
Per Lesley Kim ('88), the mini-reunion is held by someone who
wants to gather friends together.

NEVADA! You know our neighbors to the east of us.
Yeah, the state just before Donner's Pass. (Hope there are
