The Weapons Factory

Possess the scientist watching TV. Scientists will be your host body of choice in this section, as they have the clearance to access the places you must be.

Run across the platform above the churning turbines and follow the walkway to the left. Use the console to open the factory doors. Before going down through the doors, go down the stairs and possess the cop with the bazooka. Now go through the door. Follow the hallway around to the right. There's a weapons dispenser here, but you won't need it; you have a much more powerful weapon in your immediate future. Go through the door.

Getting the Maser

This doorway will lead you to the experimental weapon testing room. You can turn on the weapon if you'd like, but it will malfunction and become hazardous to your health. Walk out onto one of the platforms holding the targets. Look down. You must jump down to safety, using the pipes and platforms between you and the platform below. It may be easier to depossess your host, then glide down. Possess the scientist on the walkway below.

Now, go through the door and use the lift. Jump to the platform and use the switch. This will take you to the weapons factory.

Use the console near this walkway to restore power to the elevators. Go through the door into the maser manufacturing room. Use the console to activate the maser manufacturing process. Walk down the steps and use the console below. A maser will be lowered from the ceiling. Pick it up, then enter the elevator behind you. Ride it to the second floor.

Charging the Maser

At this point, the maser is useless. You must charge it. When you exit the elevator on the second floor, turn right and enter the elevator labeled "courtyard" and "basement." Take the elevator down to the basement.

The maser charging station is just across the bridge. Unfortunately, the scientist manning the controls decided to lower the bridge. You must find an alternate route.

Save your game. You need this maser, and if anything happens to your host, you'll be out of luck.

Walk so that you're facing the gap where the bridge would normally be. Look down and to your left. You'll see some pipes jutting out of the wall. Jump to these pipes, then walk to the center. Look down again. See that large wheel? You must time this next jump carefully - you must run to the door across the gap, and you can only do it when the solid portion of the wheel is directly below you.

When the solid portion is directly below you, jump to it and run across. Jump to the small ledge just before the door. Open the door.

Look down before you go through the door. You must jump to those pipes ahead, then follow them to the left. Drop down to the ledge below. Follow the ledge until you are face to face with the wheels.

Getting through this section is straightforward, but tricky. You must jump to the platforms on each wheel, and you must time each jump precisely - especially the last few. Once you've made it to the final wheel, jump to the pipes ahead. Turn and climb up the pipe above, then run up the ramp to the doorway.

Now, you're at the charging station. Feel free to beat on the scientist at the bridge controls for putting you through that. Place the maser on the charging station and use the controls to charge it. Once it's good to go, pick it up. You can leave this room through the doorway and follow the hallway around or just reactivate the bridge and run across. Either way, you'll end up back at the elevator.

The Behemoths and Beyond

Ride the elevator up twice to the courtyard. Exit, then run up the stairs. You're back in the area where you first entered the weapons factory. Run back through the door to the factory, then down the steps. The exit door is now unlocked. Go through.

Run down the stairs and through the door at the bottom. Go across the courtyard to the large gate on the other side. Another gate is behind it. Open this gate to reveal the behemoth. Quickly fire the maser. It takes a moment to charge, but you can get off a shot before it starts firing. Fire the maser again to destroy the plasma barrier. Now, run to the door directly across the courtyard. You'll meet some resistance from the cops in the pillboxes above.

Through this door are a few more behemoths. Don't confront them head on. You'll need to use some caution in order to defeat them. For the first one, stay behind the wall, facing it. Hold down the fire button to charge the maser. When it's ready to fire, quickly strafe out and shoot the behemoth. Now, take cover behind the vehicle. If your host is hurt, you'll find a citizen hiding inside the vehicle. Once again, begin charging the maser, when it's about to fire, strafe out and take out the behemoth on the right. Repeat the process for the one on the left. Now run to the right and take cover behind the short wall. Once again use the charge and strafe technique. Once the last behemoth is down, run down to the door at the end.

Beyond the door, you'll see a small ledge sticking out of the wall. Jump up onto the raised lip of the walkway, then jump and climb onto the ledge. Jump from ledge to ledge until you're facing the wheels. That's right - more wheels.

These are a bit trickier than the wheels near the charging station. These wheels have more platforms to jump to, but the platforms are smaller. Between each wheel is a moving ledge. Jump from wheel to ledge, wheel to ledge, until you make it across.

You're not through yet. The next section has a series of huge, rotating wheels embedded in the walls. Wait on the ledge until the gap in the wheel appears, then jump across to the next ledge. At the end, you'll see an open doorway across the gap. Jump the gap into the control room.
