Dustin Harris Bass Guitars / Vox Check Out Dustin's Gear Here Dustin's Biography Dustin began studying music at age 7 with piano lessons, which he continued for three years. At age 8 he studied violin privately for a year, which help in his acceptance to a private music school, where he first met Paul Hermann, his best friend ever since. There he studied violin for a further 4 years, as well as vocal lessons. After graduating, Dustin moved onto highschool, where he took courses in MIDI for 3 years. Wanting to branch out even further, Dustin switched highschools to a music-oriented highschool where he studied Orchestral Percussion for two years. Graduating with the award for Highest Achievement in Music in his grade, Dustin moved onto college, where he is studing Recording Engineering. Dustin picked up the bass guitar at age 18. "I've wanted to play bass since grade 6!" he says, and he claims that this instrument is still is first love. Dustin is currently involved in session work for many local artists, and is taking lessions in Jazz. Dustin's influences are diverse, but his bass influences include: Alain Caron, Victor Wooten, Stefan Lessard, and Les Claypool. Dustin's favorite band? Dave Mathews Band! Dustin Harris
