    Paul has been playing music for all of his life begining with piano at the age of eight. After playing for three years, he was accepted to a private music school where he learned violin for 6 years from that time. When Paul entered highschool, he decided to learn a brass instrument. Trombone was next on his list. By his last few years of highschool, everyone was becoming a drummer, so he jumped on the band wagon. He started drums and quickly caught on fast. Paul enjoyed playing jazz and continued to play it untill he joined a band Called "SOLD" where he was introduced to the rock style. During that time his influences were Our Lady Peace and Tool. Currently, Paul's major influence is the music of Dave Mathews Band. During SOLD, Greame Cornies asked him to drum for him knowing of Paul's jazz background. After SOLD, he joined a band called Amalgam, where he plays currently. Amalgam will be recording their first album in the near future.
