This is the release announcement of "Zooma" from Discipline Global Mobile's website. The album is actually JPJ's second solo album. How could they forget "Scream For Help"?

FIRST SOLO ALBUM FROM LEGENDARY LED ZEPPELIN ARTIST JOHN PAUL JONES TO BE RELEASED ON THE DISCIPLINE GLOBAL MOBILE LABEL IN SEPTEMBER.

Discipline Global Mobile is pleased to announce the upcoming release from rock legend, John Paul Jones. ZOOMA (DGM 9909), the first solo album by Jones, will be released on Discipline in September 1999.

The 9-track instrumental album is described by Jones as, "roaring and powerful," and the album features Jones playing four-string, ten-string, and 12-string basses, as well as bass lap steel, kyma, mandola, organ, and guitars, while also arranging and conducting members of the London Symphony Orchestra for one of the tracks.

John Paul Jones envisions ZOOMA as the advent of an on-going solo career. He is keen to return to touring, and a planned world tour will begin with major cities in the U.S. in the autumn.

John Paul Jones chose Discipline Global Mobile because of its unique operating principles. In keeping with DGM's standard trading policy, there is no contract between the artist and the record company, and artists retain the rights to their work.

Discipline Global Mobile specializes in instrumental and avant-garde rock music, and was founded by King Crimson guitarist, Robert Fripp.
