Dave Feinman was born in Hoboken, New Jersey. It wasn't supposed to be that way. A week before he was due, his mother decided it would be a good idea to get her teeth cleaned and went to visit her brother, the dentist, and, well, you know. After three long days in New Jersey, Dave moved to New York. It was too late. He was scarred for life.

Naturally, when he grew up he became a comedian. He has appeared on HBO and Comedy Central. He has performed in 27 states, none more frequently than New Jersey. Bill Hicks once described Dave's act as "wicked funny". Then he died.

Dave assisted in the development of and did punch up on All Together Now (Gramnet Productions, Executive Producers: Bill Freiberger, Kelsey Grammer & Rudy Hornish), an NBC pilot in which one of the characters, Dave Visone (Erik Palladino), was based on him. For a few weeks, he almost felt like he was in show business but then Warren Littlefield decided he liked Conrad Bloom better and that was the end of that. Dave went back to his apartment, Littlefield was fired a few months later and Kelsey Grammer went on to make a movie called New Jersey Turnpikes.

Dave has appeared on Disney's Teen Angel and Fox's The Show. A long time ago, he played one of the leads in Home Remedy, a film by acclaimed indie director, Maggie Greenwald. Not surprisingly, it was filmed in New Jersey.

He currently resides in West Hollywood, California with his wife and cat. In addition to performing comedy, he pretends to write scripts while goofing off by working on his webpage. There is a rumor floating around that he's writing a novel set on Long Island and in upstate New York. "Floating around" means Dave told his wife and his wife told their cat.

To this day, Dave remains convinced that had he been born in New York, everything would be different.

A videotaped performance is available upon request.
