First of all, a few general notes about what follows:

* I am not trying to get a lot of people to agree with me. That's never going to happen. If you disagree, tell me about it. I am happy to justify my opinions and to convince unbelievers that they are wrong. However,letters of pure abuse will be ignored. You have to justify your thoughts in a rational way too.
* Finally, a word of warning: If you are a fascist, a vegan, an Islamic fundamentalist, a person who thinks that swimming with dolphins cures cancer or that people like Slobodan Milosevic can be reasoned with if they are shown respect and courtesy, you are going to be offended. OK, here we go:

I believe in sustainable use of all natural resources. That includes whales, elephants, seals, mahogany trees. Humans are not a natural resource. Before you go into a rage, I wish to repeat that I said sustainable.That means that you always leave enough whales, elephants and trees to renew the stock. It is possible, and it is practiced. Have a look at Norwegian whaling or elephants in South Africa.

Democracy is a shit system of governement. But so far, nobody has come up with a better one.Except Voltaire, with his theory of Benevolent Despotism, but he himself admitted that it could not be put into practice. The problem is when the electorate is poorly educated or mislead and don't really know what they want anyway. Also, democracy tends to attract a heck of a lot of second rate politicians. Politicians and the media use pathetic sentimental sensationalist bollocks to sway public opinion, which is an irresponsible way to do things. It makes prevailing through ratioanl argument impossible. It reduces government to following fashionable but wrong ideas and it makes me really angry!.

Oasis are wankers.

Greenpeace are also a waste of space. It's just a formidable propaganda organization that has the power to convince millions of people of any bullshit that they come up with.If Greenpeace says that whales discuss philosophy during their migration, millions of bunny-huggers will believe them. I would like to personnally congratulate President Jacques Chirac for having their ships boarded and fucked up. It's what the bastards deserve.

By the way, I realise that many people-in fact,most people-will disagree with a hell of a lot of what is written here. Fair enough. You're entitled to your own opinion. Of course, that doesn't make you right, it just means that you won't be tortured for it. What I mean is, that if you have a major problem with my opinions, I would like to know about it.Thank you.
