Sending Stats to Another Character

Open up triggers. Highlight the trigger you have tracking your prompt and saving the stats in variables. It looks like this.

Now, choose the name of the character you want to have receive the stats. I will use Milenko as an example. Add the following lines:

The easy way is to highlight the 5 lines you have, cut and paste it after for a total of 10 lines. Then, add the text :name: before the last 5. The :name: sends the command to the window that is titled Name. Make sure you have your windows set properly in character properties. If you do not know how to do this, click Chars, then when the screen with all your character icons appears, right click on the character you are sending the stats to, and choose properties:

Then, click the second tab, Character:

And put the character's name in the box marked Session ID. Click the tab marked MUD:

Make sure the title box has the name of the MUD, and the icon caption reads your character's name on the mud in the Title box. If you do not have the little lock at the end of the icon caption bar checked, it should change the caption if you change the title to match each other. Now, when you connect to the MUD, you will see your character's name in the title bar across the top of the screen. Typing :name:command will make that character do whatever you command it to from whatever window you are on. If you just type :command , it makes ALL windows put the command in.

Now, you'll need to log on the character that is receiving the stats, and define their status bar.

Make sure you change the variables to match the ones your trigger uses. Also, you can remove any or all stats you dont want to look at, like align or moves.
