Here are a few of the strategies that I use when playing as Gouki. They are quite simple and if you incorporate them into your fighting then you should find your self with more wins.

No.1StrategyKeep your opponent locked in the corner. This will enable you to repeatedly attack them with Gou Shouryuu Ken's and Tatsumaki Zankuu Kyaku's and juggles.Rating****
No.2StrategyDon't use your supers too early. If you use them during the first round, you may find yourself with a heap of trouble in the second. Also, if you are losing badly and a super won't kill your oppenent straight away, then don't waste it. There is no point wasting a super just so you can die and do it all again in the next round!Rating*****
No.3StrategyDon't become overly reliant on your Gou, Zankuu and Shakunetsu Hadou Ken's. They are actually quite easy to block and fighters can take advantage of the slow down and jump over and kick you upside the head!Rating***
No.4StrategyDon't go easy on your oppenents. Gouki is not a defensive character, he is hyper-offensive! Most oppenents fighting style breaks down after a while, leaving them open to supers and combos.Rating*****
No.5StrategyCombo, Combo, Combo! Gouki's combos are really quite powerful. Never pass by the opportunity for a combo!Rating***
No.6StrategyLearn what super to use and when. The Shun Goku Satsu is a very good super that cannot be blocked, it also takes off 1/2 life!. Your Tenma Gou Zankuu is good too, but it would be wiser to go with your Messatsu Gou Hadou. Also, use the Messatsu Gou Shouryuu generously, it's fast and powerfull!Rating*****
No.7StrategyKnow when to stop attacking! Gouki isn't invincible (well maybe) and if you don't defend once in a while...you're gonna get dead!Rating**
No.9StrategyKeep a no fly zone! If anybody tries to jump at you, Gou Shouryuu Ken thier ass!Rating*****
No.10StrategyThink about what your opponent is doing. If they are jumping around, Gou Shouryuu Ken. If they are using projectiles then Ashura Gou Senkuu. If they are just standing there blocking then Gou Hadou Ken thier life away!Rating*****
