Hey, how are ya? Things have been slow the past month or so and now I am finally getting a chance to do some updates here. Currently I am just doing some behind the scenes work. Geocities has given us some more capabilities, so I am trying to make use of the additional space and subdirectories.
In regards to things relating to STREETS, Tim Gehrt has started a new company, Tim Gehrt & Associates. He has not updated me on what is up here, but hopefully soon. No matter what the case is, I wish him and his associates the best at their new adventure.
In other music since the last update. I did go see Joe Satriani in July. If you ever have the chance to see Joe, you have to go. It is a MUST. This guy is AWESOME. His new CD, Crystal Planet, is also something that I would highly recommend. You can check out his web site at http://www.satriani.com. I got to also go and see Alice Cooper this past weekend. His show was ok, but I was hoping for more theatrics. When I saw him back in 1987, at least he cut his head off and did other weird things. I will admit, other than that, his show was really good. The band could have been tighter, but Alice still sounded really great. I hope that I am kicking around like that when I'm past 50. :) If you have the chance, check this show out. You can also check out his web site at http://www.alicecoopershow.com.

Hey, how's everyone doing?? Almost July, this year is going by fast.
I forgot to mention on the last update that I received a tape from Ron Chrisley of the BBC Rock Hour performance of STREETS from San Diego. This was recorded back around 1984. Very good recording. There are a couple of places where the balance is slightly off, but, overall this recording is top notch. There are points where it is better than the King Biscuit Flower Hour release. Once again, Thanks Ron!!
John over at the Steelhouse Lane site wants everyone to know that they have moved to their own URL. They are now at http://www.steelhouselane.com. Don't forget to update your bookmarks.

Once again, time sure flies when you work way too many hours at work. I hope all of you will understand.
Not much new these past few weeks. The Steelhouse Lane site has been updated and I was asked by John Patten to let all of you know that he is taking care of that site.
I did hear back again from Tim Gehrt and he is still alive and will hopefully be able to answer some of our questions in the next month or so.
If you are a big Kansas fan, don't forget that they have come out with another project titled Always Never The Same. This project was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra. It is hot. I highly recommend it.
Marc Johnson sent me something slightly novel, a photo of him and Steve Walsh. I know, you're thinking, so what? The cool thing is that the photo was taken a few years back and Steve was wearing a STREETS shirt. Very Cool. Thanks Marc.

Alright, so shoot me. I have been sleeping and not updating my website. Please, Please forgive me. I will try and do better. This past month has been one of those that you look back on and say, hey, where did it go.
I did get to go see Kansas when they played the House of Blues on April 25th. Very good show. I would recommend to any fan to go and see them this summer.
I still haven't heard back from Tim Gehrt in regards to getting some of our questions answered. Hopefully things are well with him and that the new products that he is working on at Bitheadz are selling well.
I'm still listening to Steelhouse Lane. This is most definately a keeper. Get this CD.
I finally received my King Biscuit Flower Hour Blackfoot CD. This CD is so so. The mix seems to be pretty rough. I was really disappointed to hear mike feedback during Teenage Idol. :( I have only listened to this one a couple of times so far... Maybe I'll change my mind.
Other things that have been taking up my time besides work are a couple of new games. Spec Ops and Star Wars Rebellion. Both very great games. If you are a gamer, check these out.
I'm still getting the run around in regards to getting the STREETS CDs from various places. As soon as I find a company that has them, I'll let you know.
As for now, thanks for stopping by and making this site part of your day. :) I know, mushy, isn't it.

This past week has not been good for the music industry. Way too many musicians passing away. The one that I feel the biggest loss from is Cozy Powell. The Rainbow Rising album has always been one of my most favorite. Cozy will be deeply missed.
I have finally done some site updates worth mentioning. I uploaded some more lyrics from the 1st CD. I uploaded One Way Street and Lonely Woman's Cry.
I recieved Mike Slamer's new CD today. The name of the band is Steelhouse Lane and the CD is named Metallic Blue. I have listened to it a few times already and it is a very interesting album. It brings back a lot of memories from the '80s. It has that sound and feel. In my eyes it is a must for anyone that enjoyed Mike's work in STREETS. Now I just need to work on Mike to get an autographed copy. :)
I also updated the Links area with a new category, Where To Get Your Music. I have added sites that I have dealt with.
Also..I did hear back from Angelo on the STREETS CDs. He is only carrying the legitimate one and that is the King Biscuit Flower Hour one.

WOW!!!!! Sorry for falling off the face of the earth for the past week. Time sure flies when you live at work and buy new computer toys to play with.
I have updated the Updates area and the .plan area for the month of April.
I have added a link to Missy Ross's David Ragsdale Page at http://risc.usi.edu/~mrose/david.htm. I have also added a link to Freddie Isettie's Friends of Kansas Page at http://www.epix.net/~freddah/potsw5.html.
I finally did find out about my STREETS CD orders from CD Europe, they didn't make it. I found out about this a few weeks back. But, I have since checked their site again and this time they have them listed again but being imported from somewhere else. Needless to say, I have ordered them again. This time there was even the 1st and Crimes in Mind on the same CD one. We'll have to wait and see what happens. :) Just so that I don't get asked on this, I did send Angelo's a request on this and never heard back from them. I will have to check with them again.
Mike Slamer's new band, Steelhouse Lane, have released their CD. Check out NEH Records to get it here in the United States. I ordered mine today, so as soon as I get it I will let you know what I think. There have been good reviews of it already on some various web sites.
One other last music related item. For those of you that like Blackfoot, King Biscuit Flower Hour has released a CD from a concert in 1983 of them. I have ordered this one also. It has Teenage Idol on it. I'm hoping the studio wasn't God and that they were able to sing this one in concert. :) I'll let you know on this one also.
