The suspenseful "forward" begins. The sound of metal grinding on metal builds and builds until finally "blame" blends in. Jeff's voice then comes promenant, spilling his guts for the crowd. When the chorus kicks in you get your first indication of the very metalic sounding guitars that make their presence known. They penetrate through the foreground giving the sound that makes them unique. Next they play the slow moving "hold". The guitars pulsate in and out of the background and the bass is smooth. Another suspenseful intro begins (not "forward") and Jeff yells "Guilty !". Their hit single "guilty" warms up the audiance as Jeff then yells "Make some fucking noise !". The penetrating guitars of "Down" are next as they slice through the crowd like knife through butter. Now Jeff and the band have settled in nicely screaming the chorus for all it's meaning. Then the Mortal Kombat soundtrack hit "GoodBye" thumps deeply through the hearts of the audience. The audience is then blessed with "Never". Jeff screams "It's like I never, never, never been here before" throughout the chorus and the crowd replies by sacrificing thier voices for the band. The quiet "Here" begins but soon turns loud when the chorus kicks in and the drums bounce off the walls of the bar. The pulsating guitars return on "inside" as they compliment with the smooth bass. Gravity Kills end with the appropriate "last". The smothering samples grab hold of your ears one at a time much like they do on the album and don't let go. All the songs off the debut album except "enough" are played, and very well. The keyboards are not lost in the background like some recordings suggest and the guitars are strong but delicate enough not to hinder the performance of the rest of the band. The vocals are very clean, tight, and comperhensible. The intro they play for "guilty" is excellent and gives a added touch to a great song. All in all a great recording of a great performance.
