Most bands dreams of making a good deal. But why be satisfied with something less then the best. Well Amon Amarth did´t, they cut a deal with Metal Blade Records, the same company as Slayer has a deal with. One of the things with Metal Blade is that they don´t have a melodic deathmetal band among their other bands, which Amon Amarth thinks is good. The other thing is the economic secuity of Metal Blade, and they can tour with some of the bigger bands from Metal Blade. They recorded the album (Ones Sent From The olden Hall) in Sunlight Studio, but Amon Amarth and Metal Blade was not satisfied with the recording so after about six month

they recorded it again but this time in Peter Tägtgren´s Abyss. And the result was alot better. Most of the text´s to the songs is about five viking warriors, which makes them amost like short storys. The album should have bin a theme album, but it did´t turn out thet way. Amon Amarth has worked lots with the text´s and the music , to be well matched. So Olavi M. who makes most of the music , makes the music so it suits Johan´s Lyricis, and Johan does the some to make the lyrics suit the music.

All I have to say about this album is, BUY IT!!!!
