The band performed Salvation, they were presented by Geanine Garafalo. Dolores voice wasn't at her best, and she presented and messy hair, showing her pierced belly bottom with a kinda old opened at the abs shirt along with a silky pants combined with low heal combat boots. They didn't got the award they were nominated for. Other people at the awards were: Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, Oasis, Jewel, Garbage etc.
MTV Europe Music Awards 1995
The only break the band took during the recording of the To The Faithful Departed was this appearance at Le Zenith on Paris. The awards were hosted by the french fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier. The band received the award for Best Song of the Year for Zombie, the award was given to the band by Björk and The Edge from U2, on the acceptance speech Dolores said it was for guarding the peace in the world.
For this awards Dolores was wear a read outfit, but she was shave head and looked really good, they also performed Zombie, in a great performance, at the last part of the song she just said "this song was written: for peace in our world, for a peaceful future, peace in Bosnia". That was the night of the cranberries. Other personalities oin the awards were: Björk, U2, David Bowie, Diana King, East 17, Simply Red, Jarvis Cocker and Blur.
Pavarotti & Friends together for the children of Bosnia
On September the 12th 1995, Luciano Pavarotti organized concert in his natal city of Modena, for raising funds to sponsor a music center in Mostar, the spceial guest of the concert was Lady D, and the money raised by the concert, the album and the video were to support Warchild.
Dolores O'Riordan (lead singer of the cranberries) took part at the event, performing Linger at the begining along with Simon Le Bon, with an acoustic version of the song, the arrangement of the orchestration was by Michael Kamen (who orchestrated To The Faithful Departed).
The other song performed by Dolores was The Ave Maria, in which she was acompained by Pavarotti, for some people that was the big card of the night, where Dolores shows her operatic and soprano skills, on this one the orchestration was arranged by Chiaramello and the orchestra was directed by Marco Armilato.
About the concert Dolores commented that if she could help with her voice yo raise money for the children, she would do it, and in the rehearsals she said she was nervous, but it is a good cause singing for the children of war. Other people who performed at the concert were: Bono and The Edge, Brian Eno, Simon Le Bon, Meat Loaf, the Chieftains, Jovanotti and Zucchero. All together sang the Nessum Dorma.
Pagan Fun Wear
After the success of the 1994 Little Pieces from Big Stars benefit, Brian Eno and Anthea Norman-Taylor recruited more friends from the music industry to design pieces of clothing to be sold at a benefit fashion show and auction. Participating artists included Laurie Anderson, Michael Stipe, Bjork, David Bowie, Bryan Ferry, Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed, Michael Stipe, Peter Townshend, and Dave Stewart.

Held on June 21, 1995 in London, Pagan Fun Wear was conceived as a midsummer's night fashion show and bacchanalian feast to benefit War Child. Proceeds from Pagan Fun Wear went towards the rebuilding of the Children's Music Centre in Mostar.
